Why is the XXL chicken roast crudités sandwich classified as ultra‑processed (NOVA 4) and what specific additives does it contain?

Because it includes multiple industrial ingredients such as a processed mayonnaise, roasted chicken treated with additives, and three food‑grade additives, E316 (calcium lactate), E326 (sodium phosphate) and E451 (sodium polyphosphate), the product meets the criteria for NOVA group 4, which clusters foods that have undergone extensive formulation and processing.

How does the salt content of this sandwich affect a hypertensive diet?

At 1.1 g of salt per 100 g (about 0.44 g of sodium), the sandwich provides roughly one‑third of the daily recommended maximum for sodium, so it can be included in a blood‑pressure‑friendly diet when consumed in moderation and balanced with low‑salt foods.

Is the egg yolk in this sandwich a concern for people with egg allergy?

Yes. The ingredient list specifies egg yolk, and the allergen label flags eggs, meaning anyone with an egg allergy should avoid this sandwich as it can trigger allergic reactions.
