Why is Choco Kings classified as ultra-processed (NOVA 4) and what specific additives does it contain?

It is made from refined wheat flour, added sugars, palm fat, glucose syrup and includes processing aids such as a raising agent (ammo) and the emulsifier lecithin (E322), which together place the product in the ultra-processed NOVA 4 group.

How do the sugar and salt levels in Choco Kings affect people with diabetes or high blood pressure?

The high sugar content (37.1 g per 100 g) can cause rapid blood‑glucose spikes, making it unsuitable for diabetic diets, while the salt amount is low compared to other snacks but still contributes to overall sodium intake, so it should be consumed sparingly by those monitoring blood pressure.

Is Choco Kings suitable for vegan, gluten‑free or keto diets?

No; the biscuits contain wheat flour (gluten) and skimmed milk powder (dairy), so they are neither vegan nor gluten‑free, and with 69.3 g of carbohydrates per 100 g they far exceed the low‑carb limits of a keto diet.
