Lejía, sold under the W5 and Lidl brands, is a 5 L plastic container of household bleach designed for cleaning and disinfection. Its active ingredient, sodium hypochlorite, provides fast, broad-spectrum germ-killing power, making it effective on hard surfaces, kitchens, and bathrooms. However, the formulation is highly corrosive, can cause skin and eye irritation, release chlorine fumes if mixed with acids or ammonia, and requires careful handling and ventilation.
