Pro Novo Betta insect
Product Insights
Pro Novo Betta Insect by JBL is a 38 g fish food formulated specifically for Betta species, featuring 15% insect protein from Hermetia larvae together with wheat flour, rice flour, salmon and squid meals, and soy flour. The formulation provides a high variety of protein sources and includes antioxidants for stability, which can support growth and coloration, but the inclusion of wheat and soy, which contain gluten and common allergens, may reduce the overall animal-protein proportion preferred by carnivorous Bettas. Overall, the product offers a sustainable protein option but its grain-heavy composition and unspecified additive levels suggest it is more of a general-purpose feed rather than a premium, high-protein Betta diet.
