Why is Mini burge classified as ultra‑processed (NOVA 4) and what specific additives does it contain?

Gummy candies like Mini burge are made from refined sugars, glucose syrup, gelatin, flavorings, colorants and stabilisers, all of which are industrially processed ingredients; this combination places the product in the NOVA 4 ultra‑processed category.

How does the sugar and salt content in Mini burge affect a diabetic or hypertensive diet?

With 46 g of sugar per 100 g, Mini burge can cause rapid blood‑glucose spikes, making it unsuitable for people managing diabetes, while its 0.2 g of salt per 100 g adds only a modest amount to sodium intake but may still contribute to overall salt consumption for those with hypertension.

Is Mini burge suitable for vegan, keto, halal, or gluten‑free diets?

Because it typically contains gelatin derived from animal sources, Mini burge is not vegan or halal; its high sugar and carbohydrate level also makes it incompatible with keto diets, and although many gummy candies are gluten‑free, the lack of ingredient detail means it cannot be guaranteed gluten‑free.
