Is this specific formula suitable for all life stages or specific breeds?

The product is marketed for growing puppies and junior dogs only; it provides the protein and mineral levels needed for bone development and is not intended for senior dogs or cats, so breed-specific suitability should be confirmed with a veterinarian.

What is the primary protein source in this food, and how does its grain-free nature affect pet digestion?

The primary proteins are raw fish (30%) and dehydrated chicken (24%); the grain-free claim is achieved with peas and potatoes, which supply carbs but can be less digestible for some dogs, while added prebiotic fibers and beet pulp help maintain healthy gut function.

Are there any common allergens in this recipe, and what feeding guidelines should owners follow?

The recipe contains fish, chicken, peas and legumes, which are among the most frequent canine allergens; owners should introduce the food gradually, watch for itching or gastrointestinal upset, and consult a vet if any adverse reaction occurs.

Product Insights

This grain-free dry food is formulated for growing puppies and junior dogs, featuring raw fish (30%) and dehydrated chicken (24%) as the main protein sources. It includes added glucosamine and chondroitin for joint health, prebiotic fibers (FOS, MOS), beet pulp, and a blend of vitamins and minerals to support overall development, while providing a balanced mix of peas and potatoes for carbohydrates. Potential concerns are the presence of common allergens such as fish and chicken, the reliance on legumes and potatoes which may be less digestible for some dogs, and the use of preservatives and rosemary extract as antioxidants.
