Is this salmon and poultry formula suitable for all life stages or specific dog breeds?

The kibble is formulated for adult dogs with high energy needs and is especially suitable for active or working breeds; it may be too rich in protein and fat for very young puppies or senior dogs with reduced caloric requirements, so a life‑stage specific diet is recommended in those cases.

What is the primary protein source in this food, and how does its grain‑free nature affect pet digestion?

The main proteins come from fresh salmon (30 %) and dehydrated poultry (21 %), and the grain‑free claim is achieved by using peas and potato starch as carbohydrate sources, which can be easier on dogs with grain sensitivities but may pose digestibility issues for dogs prone to legume intolerance.

Are there any common allergens in this kibble, and how should owners with sensitive dogs approach feeding it?

The kibble contains fish (salmon) and poultry, both frequent allergens for dogs, as well as legumes like peas; owners should introduce the food gradually and watch for signs of itching, gastrointestinal upset or ear infections, and consult a veterinarian if an allergic reaction is suspected.
