Why is Extrême coco mangue classified as ultra‑processed (NOVA 4) and what specific additives does it contain?

The product includes multiple refined ingredients such as rehydrated skimmed milk, glucose syrup, wheat flour and various vegetable oils, plus industrial additives like emulsifiers (soy lecithin), mono‑ and diglycerides, gelling agents (pectins, guar gum, carob seed flour, xanthan gum) and stabilisers, which collectively place it in the ultra‑processed NOVA 4 category.

How does the sugar content in this ice cream affect a diabetic or hypertensive diet?

With 30 g of sugar per 100 g, the ice cream can cause rapid blood‑glucose spikes, making it unsuitable for people managing diabetes, while its low salt (0.14 g) does not pose a major concern for hypertension but the high sugar still warrants caution for overall cardiovascular health.

Is the presence of gluten, milk, peanuts, soy and mustard a concern for consumers with these allergies?

Yes, the ingredient list explicitly includes wheat (gluten), skimmed milk, soy lecithin, peanuts and mustard, and the label notes possible cross‑contamination; individuals allergic to any of these should avoid the product.
