Question 1

What specific surfaces and materials can Re‑New adhesive be safely used on, and which applications should be avoided?

Accepted Answer

Re‑New works well on solid, non‑porous surfaces such as wood, metal, glass, ceramic, most plastics and sealed laminates; it should not be used on fabrics, unfinished porous wood, paper, food‑contact surfaces, or in high‑temperature environments exceeding its cure temperature.

Question 2

Are there any toxicity, flammability, or handling precautions when using Re‑New adhesive?

Accepted Answer

The product contains solvent‑based components that emit VOCs, so users should wear gloves, ensure adequate ventilation, avoid ignition sources, keep the container closed when not in use, and store it away from heat or direct sunlight.

Question 3

Is the packaging of Re‑New recyclable, and are its ingredients environmentally biodegradable?

Accepted Answer

Re‑New is typically packaged in a recyclable plastic bottle, but the adhesive itself consists of synthetic polymers that are not readily biodegradable, limiting its environmental friendliness.
