Is Prodent Menthol Power Toothpaste safe for people with sensitive teeth or gums?

It is generally safe, but the strong menthol can cause a tingling sensation and may irritate very sensitive gums; users with extreme sensitivity should consult a dentist or choose a milder formula.

What benefits does menthol provide in this toothpaste, and does it help fight cavities?

Menthol creates a cooling, fresh‑breath effect and has mild antibacterial properties that reduce oral odor, but cavity protection relies on the fluoride component rather than menthol itself.

How often should this toothpaste be used and are there any controversial ingredients to avoid?

For optimal oral health, brush twice daily with a pea‑sized amount; the product contains fluoride for enamel strengthening and menthol for freshness and does not include controversial additives such as triclosan, making it suitable for regular use.
