Is Brit Care Superfruits Salmon suitable for all life stages and breeds of cats?

The treat is formulated for adult sterilised cats of any breed and can be given as a reward, but it is not intended as a complete diet for kittens, senior cats with specific health needs, or cats with known food sensitivities.

What is the primary protein source in this snack, and how does its grain‑free formulation affect a cat’s digestion?

Salmon dehydrated meal (40 %) is the main protein, complemented by hydrolyzed chicken protein (8 %) and chicken liver; the grain‑free recipe uses peas and tapioca starch, which can be easier on sensitive stomachs but may cause digestive upset in cats that are intolerant to legumes.

Does this treat contain common cat allergens, and what feeding guidelines should owners follow?

It contains both fish (salmon) and poultry (chicken), which are among the most common cat allergens; owners should start with a small portion, watch for any signs of adverse reaction, provide fresh water, and limit the treat to a few pieces per day.
