Is Oil Romero safe for sensitive, acne‑prone, or dry skin?

The oil is generally suitable for normal to dry skin thanks to its moisturizing base, but the added fragrance and fragrance allergens (linalool, limonene, geraniol, coumarin) can cause irritation for very sensitive or acne‑prone individuals.

What is the specific role and benefit of rosemary extract in this body oil?

Rosemary extract acts as an antioxidant and astringent, helping to tone the skin, improve elasticity and protect against free‑radical damage while adding a fresh herbal scent.

How often should Oil Romero be applied and does it contain any controversial chemicals?

Apply a few drops to the body once daily after showering, massaging until fully absorbed; the formulation includes fragrance (parfum) and fragrance allergens such as linalool, limonene, geraniol and coumarin, which some users may consider controversial, but no banned cosmetic ingredients are listed.

Product Insights

Oil Romero is a 200 ml body oil from Deliplus that blends sunflower seed oil with rosemary extract, vitamin E (tocopherol) and a fragrance mixture to moisturize and tone the skin. The formula benefits from the antioxidant properties of rosemary and vitamin E, providing a soothing, elastic feel and a relaxing aroma during daily massage. However, the inclusion of fragrance (parfum) and known sensitizers such as linalool, limonene, geraniol and coumarin may irritate sensitive or allergy‑prone skin, and the presence of an unspecified “Olus oil” leaves the exact oil composition partly unclear.

Comparative Analysis

Positioned as a rosemary‑infused body oil, it targets consumers seeking a natural‑toning, aromatic moisturizer, standing out in the mass‑market body‑oil segment through its antioxidant rosemary extract and vitamin E content.
