Is this intimate hygiene gel suitable for sensitive or allergy-prone skin?

The gel is formulated with soft surfactants, glycerin, and allantoin which are generally gentle, but the inclusion of fragrance and preservatives like sodium benzoate and benzoic acid can cause irritation for people with very sensitive or allergy-prone skin, so patch testing is advised.

What benefits does allantoin provide in this gel and how does it work?

Allantoin is a skin-conditioning agent that promotes cellular renewal, soothes irritation and helps restore the natural moisture barrier, enhancing comfort after washing.

How often should the gel be applied and does it contain any controversial chemicals?

It is intended for daily external use; apply to the wet intimate area, massage gently and rinse, and the formula contains mild surfactants but also fragrance (parfum) and preservatives such as sodium benzoate and benzoic acid, which some consumers consider controversial.

Product Insights

Deliplus brand's intimate hygiene gel offers a gentle daily cleansing experience with mild surfactants, glycerin, and allantoin that help maintain moisture and soothe the intimate area. The formula includes fragrance and preservatives such as sodium benzoate and benzoic acid, which may irritate highly sensitive or allergy-prone skin. Packaged in a 500 ml plastic bottle, it is marketed for everyday use but does not claim to be fragrance-free or fully natural.

Comparative Analysis

Positioned as a daily intimate wash for women, this gel differentiates itself with a soothing blend of glycerin and allantoin while maintaining a mild surfactant system, yet it contains fragrance and traditional preservatives that may be less appealing to users seeking completely natural or fragrance-free formulations.
