Is this specific formula suitable for all life stages or specific breeds?

The kibble is marketed for senior dogs seven years and older and is not intended for puppies or kittens. It can be fed to adult dogs of most breeds, but very large or very small breeds should consider portion size and fat content.

What is the primary protein source in this food, and how does its grain-inclusive nature affect pet digestion?

Dehydrated chicken meat provides the main protein, contributing 28% of the formula, with additional lamb and salmon. The inclusion of rice and rice flour makes the diet grain-inclusive, offering easily digestible carbohydrates that complement the high-quality proteins, while prebiotic fiber from beet pulp and FOS MOS supports healthy gut function.

Are there any common pet allergens in the ingredient list, and what feeding guidelines should owners follow to avoid adverse reactions?

The recipe contains chicken, lamb, salmon, fish oils and beet pulp, which are among the frequent allergens for dogs. Owners with known sensitivities should introduce the food gradually, start with small portions and monitor for signs of intolerance, and consult a veterinarian if any adverse reactions occur.

Product Insights

This product is a premium dry kibble designed for senior dogs aged 7 years and older, offering a blend of high-quality animal proteins like dehydrated chicken, lamb, and salmon together with carbohydrate sources such as rice and potatoes. The formula enriches the diet with functional ingredients including salmon oil, linseed oil, L-carnitine, taurine, prebiotic FOS MOS, probiotic cultures and a range of botanical extracts such as green lip mussel, krill, carrot and blueberry aimed at joint health, skin and digestive support. While the protein and omega-3 content are strong points, the kibble is highly processed, contains multiple extracts and oils that increase the fat level, and may be unsuitable for pets with sensitivities to fish or grain ingredients.
