Carrefour’s ‘Cracked Heel Cream’ is a 125 ml foot moisturizer formulated with water, petrolatum, glycerin, urea, shea butter, avocado oil and dimethicone to soften and protect severely dry skin. The high urea and petrolatum levels provide strong keratolytic and occlusive effects that can quickly hydrate cracked heels, while ingredients such as shea butter and avocado oil add emollient benefits. However, the product also contains fragrance, parabens (methylparaben, ethylparaben) and phenoxyethanol, which may irritate sensitive skin or raise concerns for those avoiding synthetic preservatives.
