What specific surfaces can the Greatest hits Glass marker be used on safely?

It is designed for smooth, non-porous surfaces such as glass, mirrors, glazed tiles, clear acrylic, and some stainless steel items; it should not be used on porous materials like paper, wood, fabric, or unglazed ceramics because the ink will not adhere properly and may bleed.

Are there any safety or handling warnings associated with this glass marker?

The marker contains alcohol-based solvents that are flammable when the tip is exposed, so it should be kept away from open flames and stored with the cap securely closed; avoid direct contact with eyes or skin, wash hands after use, and keep out of reach of children.

Is the packaging recyclable and is the ink environmentally friendly?

The marker's barrel is made of recyclable plastic and the cap is also recyclable in most curb-side programs, but the ink itself is not biodegradable and the markers are generally not refillable, so environmental impact is moderate.

Glass Marker

Product Insights

The Greatest hits Glass marker, produced by Balvi in Italy, is a set of eight liquid ink markers specifically formulated for writing on smooth, non-porous surfaces such as glass, mirrors and glazed ceramics. Its quick-drying, water-based ink delivers vivid, easily legible lines that can be removed with a damp cloth, making it convenient for temporary signage and design work. However, the solvent-based formulation can be mildly irritating to skin and eyes, the markers are flammable when uncapped, and they are not suitable for use on porous materials or food-contact surfaces.

Comparative Analysis

Positioned as a specialty glass-writing instrument, this marker distinguishes itself from ordinary permanent markers by offering fast-drying, readily erasable ink that adheres only to smooth surfaces, catering to hospitality, retail and home decor applications.
