Periquitos

Periquitos, a Vinci‑branded pet food sold in France, is a seed‑based formulation specifically designed for small parrots such as budgerigars and other parakeet species. The mix combines a blend of millet, canary seed, corn and added vitamin‑minerals to supply the protein, carbohydrate and micronutrient needs of active birds, while the inclusion of high‑energy seeds provides essential fats for plumage health. However, the reliance on calorie‑dense seeds can lead to excess weight if overfed, and owners should complement the diet with fresh greens to ensure a balanced nutrient profile.
