Is Daily Protect XL safe for sensitive or fragrance‑allergic skin?

The pads include a scented top layer and adhesive glue; while most users tolerate them well, people with sensitive skin or fragrance allergies may experience irritation and might prefer the unscented or hypoallergenic variants offered by the brand.

What role does the super‑absorbent polymer play in Daily Protect XL pads?

The super‑absorbent polymer (SAP) is embedded in the pad’s core to swell and lock up to many times its weight in liquid, turning wetness into a gel that keeps the surface dry and reduces the risk of leaks.

How often should Daily Protect XL be changed during a heavy‑flow day for optimal protection?

For heavy flow, it is recommended to replace the pad every 3 to 4 hours or sooner if it feels saturated, ensuring the absorbent core remains effective and minimizing the chance of odor or skin discomfort.

Product Insights

Daily Protect XL pads from Always are designed as extra‑large, daily‑use sanitary napkins that offer high absorbency for heavy menstrual flow. The core combines cellulose fluff and a super‑absorbent polymer to lock away fluid quickly, providing confidence and comfort throughout the day. However, the product contains synthetic polymers, fragrance and adhesive components that may cause irritation for very sensitive skin or those with fragrance allergies.

Comparative Analysis

In the feminine hygiene market, Daily Protect XL stands out for its extra‑large size and daily‑use absorbency technology, positioning it as a high‑performance option for heavy flow compared with standard regular‑size pads.
