Is this formula suitable for all life stages and breeds of cats?

The product is labelled as complete food for adult cats, so it meets the nutrient profile for mature felines; it is not formulated for kittens, pregnant queens or senior cats with special health needs, and breed‑specific sensitivities should be considered.

What is the main protein source in this food and how does its grain‑free composition affect a cat’s digestion?

The primary proteins come from beef, veal and lamb together with fish derivatives, and the recipe contains no cereals; the grain‑free nature reduces the risk of carbohydrate‑related digestive upset while providing highly digestible animal proteins that are well suited to feline metabolism.

Are there common allergens or ingredients that could cause reactions in sensitive cats?

The list includes beef, veal, lamb and fish, all of which are among the most frequent feline allergens; the product also contains added sugars, yeast and several mineral supplements, so owners of cats with known food sensitivities should introduce the food gradually and monitor for signs of itching, gastrointestinal upset or vomiting.

Cibo Umido Per Gatti

Product Insights

The product is a wet cat food from Purina marketed as “gourmet mon petit intense agnello”. It combines beef, veal and lamb cooked in a savory sauce together with fish derivatives, vegetable protein extracts, minerals, sugars and yeast, delivering 81.5% moisture, 12% crude protein, 2.6% crude fat, 1.7% ash and 0.05% fibre per 100 g. The high moisture aids hydration, while the protein level is modest for an adult cat diet and the formulation relies on added vitamins and taurine to meet nutritional requirements, but the lack of detailed macro‑mineral breakdown and the presence of multiple minor additives make the overall nutritional profile less transparent.
