Friskies dry kibble, sold in a 1 kg cardboard bag, is formulated for both dogs and cats. The formula combines up to 80% cereals with 20% meat and animal by-products (including 3% chicken and 1% beef), vegetable protein extract, added oils, minerals and yeast, delivering 30% protein, 11% fat, 3% fiber and a modest level of taurine for feline health. While the high protein and vitamin content are beneficial, the predominance of grain and limited real meat may make it less suitable for pets with grain sensitivities or those requiring a higher animal-protein diet, and the presence of chicken, beef and yeast can trigger common allergies.
