Each pack contains six individual traps composed of 52 % natural rubber, 25 % polyisobutylene derivatives, 20 % mineral oil and a 3 % food attractant, and the manufacturer states that it contains no toxic substances. While the traps are effective for indoor pest management, the sticky adhesive can cause skin irritation, poses a choking hazard if mishandled, and the synthetic components are not biodegradable, so careful placement and disposal are recommended.
