Why is Fluffy Milky classified as ultra-processed (NOVA 4) and what specific additives does it contain?

Fluffy Milky is labelled NOVA 4 because its formulation relies heavily on industrial ingredients such as refined wheat flour, added sugars, vegetable oils and multiple food-grade additives rather than whole-food components. The product contains additives including titanium dioxide (E171) for whitening, sorbitol (E420) and glycerin (E422) as humectants, mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids (E471) and polyglycerol esters (E475) as emulsifiers, polysorbate 80 (E433) for texture, potassium sorbate (E202) as a preservative, citric acid (E330) as an acidity regulator, modified starch (E1442) and sodium alginate (E401) as thickeners, and sodium acid pyrophosphate (E450i) as a raising agent.

How does the sugar content of Fluffy Milky affect a diabetic diet?

Fluffy Milky provides 26.3 g of sugar per 100 g, so a typical 40 g serving delivers roughly 10.5 g of sugar, which can cause a rapid rise in blood glucose levels; people with diabetes should limit portions and count this sugar within their total daily carbohydrate budget.

Is the wheat in Fluffy Milky a concern for people with gluten intolerance?

Yes, Fluffy Milky contains wheat flour and explicitly lists wheat (cereals containing gluten) among its ingredients, making it unsuitable for individuals with celiac disease or non-celiac gluten sensitivity.
