Why is Aqua Carpatica Flavours with Peach and Mango classified as ultra‑processed (NOVA 4) and what specific additives does it contain?

The drink is labelled NOVA 4 because it blends natural mineral water with several industrial ingredients such as agave syrup, carbon dioxide, lemon‑juice concentrate, mango and peach concentrates, a natural flavouring, an antioxidant (ascorbic acid) and a colourant derived from paprika. These processed components and the presence of added sweeteners move the product into the ultra‑processed category.

How does the sugar content in this product affect a diabetic or hypertensive diet?

Each 100 ml portion provides 4.9 g of sugars, which can raise blood‑glucose levels and is therefore unsuitable for people managing diabetes. The product contains no added salt, so it does not directly impact blood‑pressure control, but the high sugar load may indirectly affect cardiovascular health.

Is the peach ingredient in this product a concern for people with a peach allergy?

Yes, the ingredient list includes peach concentrate, and the allergen tag highlights peach as a potential allergen. Consumers with a peach allergy should avoid this beverage to prevent allergic reactions.
