Snac'o is a 500 g plastic pot dog snack from Tom&co marketed in Belgium. Its formula blends cereals with at least 4% rice, vegetable by-products, a minimum of 4% lamb meat and by-products, added oil/fat (possible palm oil), vegetable protein extract and minerals, delivering 12 g protein and 5 g fat per 100 g, which translates to a moderate fat level. The snack contains no added additives and offers a good protein boost, but the inclusion of animal by-products, potential palm oil and a moderate fat content make it less suitable for overweight or sensitive dogs, so it is best given as an occasional treat to active adult dogs.
