Is this shredded fillet formula suitable for all life stages of cats, or is it targeted to specific age groups or breeds?

The product is marketed for adult cats only; it is not formulated for kittens, senior cats with special dietary needs, or specific breeds, so it should be fed to healthy, mature felines as a complete and balanced meal.

What is the primary protein source in this food, and how does its grain‑free nature affect cat digestion?

Chicken provides the main protein (about half of the recipe) with a smaller amount of salmon, and the grain‑free design replaces cereals with tapioca starch, which is easily digestible for cats and helps avoid common grain sensitivities while still delivering energy.

Does this product contain any common cat allergens, and are there specific feeding guidelines to follow?

The formula includes fish (salmon) and chicken, both of which are among the most frequent feline allergens; owners should monitor for symptoms such as itching or digestive upset and start with the recommended portion of 1‑2 tablespoons per 4 kg of body weight per day, adjusting as needed.

Product Insights

Shredded Fillets Multipack is a grain‑free adult‑cat food from Lily’s Kitchen that features shredded chicken (about 50 % of the formula) together with salmon, tuna oil, sunflower oil, tapioca starch, mineral blends and added vitamins and taurine. The recipe provides high‑quality animal protein, essential taurine and omega‑3 fatty acids without added sugars, and uses natural ingredients to meet the nutritional needs of adult felines. However, the inclusion of fish as an allergen, sunflower oil high in omega‑6, and chelated mineral additives (E640, E640i) may increase fat and sodium levels and could trigger sensitivities in some cats.

Comparative Analysis

Compared with typical adult cat foods, this grain‑free shredded fillet formula delivers higher animal protein and added taurine but contains more fat‑rich sunflower oil and mineral chelates, which can elevate overall calorie and sodium content above the category average.
