What surfaces can the Targus AMU75EU mouse safely be used on?

The mouse works well on typical office surfaces such as mouse pads, desks, and smooth, non‑reflective tables, but may struggle on glossy glass or uneven textures that interfere with the optical sensor.

Are there any safety or handling warnings for using this computer mouse?

Because the device contains electronic components and a battery in some variants, it should be kept away from moisture, extreme heat, and direct exposure to liquids to avoid short‑circuiting or fire risk.

How can I maintain and prolong the lifespan of the AMU75EU mouse?

Regularly clean the mouse surface with a soft, lint‑free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleanser, store it in a dry environment when not in use, and replace its battery or USB cable if any signs of wear appear.
