Weleda Calendula Toothpaste comes in a 75 ml aluminum tube inside a recyclable paperboard box and combines natural ingredients such as calendula extract, clay, calcium carbonate, glycerin, myrrh extract, fennel oil and a blend of essential oils, and it holds the NATRUE organic certification. The formula is designed to gently clean teeth while soothing gums with anti‑inflammatory properties from calendula and myrrh and providing mild abrasion from calcium carbonate and clay. Potential concerns are the inclusion of a small amount of alcohol and two additives (glycerin E422 and xanthan gum E415), which may cause mild irritation for highly sensitive mouths.
