La Savonnerie de Marcel’s “Marine Aromas – Rosemary and Sea Salt” soap is a plant‑based cleanser formulated with sodium shea butterate, sodium olivate, sodium cocoate and a blend of moisturizing oils including shea butter, olive, coconut and sunflower. The addition of rosemary essential oil, sea salt and a light fragrance adds a fresh, aromatic experience and offers mild exfoliation and antioxidant benefits, while glycerin helps retain skin moisture. Potential downsides are the high pH typical of traditional soaps, which can be drying for very sensitive or compromised skin, and the presence of fragrance allergens limonene and linalool that may cause irritation in allergy‑prone individuals.
