Based on its formula, is Fructis Hair Food Banana safe for sensitive scalps or dry hair?

The mask is designed to hydrate dry hair thanks to banana juice and plant oils, but the presence of fragrance and allergens such as linalool, eugenol, coumarin and benzyl alcohol means it may cause irritation for very sensitive scalps, so a patch test is recommended.

What benefits does banana fruit juice provide in Fructis Hair Food Banana?

Banana fruit juice supplies natural sugars, vitamins B and potassium and antioxidants that help improve hair elasticity, add moisture and enhance shine, making the hair feel softer and more manageable.

How often should Fructis Hair Food Banana be applied and does it contain any controversial ingredients?

For best results use the mask 1-2 times per week after shampooing, leaving it on for 3-5 minutes before rinsing; the product does not contain animal-derived ingredients but does include synthetic preservatives (potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate) and fragrance, which some consumers consider controversial.
