Is this shampoo safe for sensitive or dry scalps?

The shampoo contains sodium laureth sulfate and a mixture of fragrance allergens (hydroxycitronellal, limonene, linalool, citronellol), which can be irritating for sensitive or dry scalps, though the presence of dimethicone, panthenol and niacinamide provides some soothing and moisturizing benefits.

What benefits does niacinamide offer in this shampoo?

Niacinamide (vitamin B3) helps strengthen the hair shaft, improve scalp barrier function, and enhance shine, contributing to a smoother, healthier-looking finish.

How often should the shampoo be used, and does it contain any controversial ingredients?

It is typically recommended to use the shampoo 2-3 times per week; the formula includes controversial ingredients such as sodium laureth sulfate, silicone (dimethicone, amodimethicone), several fragrance allergens, and the preservative phenoxyethanol.
