Elseve Total Repair Extreme Shampoo is a 250 ml, plastic-packaged, intensive reconstructing shampoo from L'Oreal's Elseve line, formulated to repair heavily damaged hair. Its blend includes conditioning agents such as dimethicone and polyquaternium-6 together with lactic acid to smooth the cuticle and restore pH balance. Yet the formula also relies on sodium laureth sulfate and a fragrance mixture containing limonene, linalool, benzyl salicylate and butylphenyl methylpropional, which may irritate sensitive scalps and raise environmental concerns.
