Is Centifolia Fluor Protection Integrale safe for people with sensitive or painful gums?

Yes, the toothpaste is formulated to be gentle and non‑abrasive, using aloe vera and low‑abrasion agents to soothe gums, but the presence of fluoride and menthol may cause mild irritation for extremely sensitive mouths, so a dentist consultation or a brief patch test is advisable.

What role does sodium fluoride (1450 ppm) play in this toothpaste?

Sodium fluoride at 1450 ppm helps remineralize tooth enamel, prevent cavities, and strengthen teeth by promoting the formation of fluorapatite, which is more resistant to acid attacks.

How often should this toothpaste be used and does it contain any controversial ingredients?

The recommended usage is twice daily after meals, brushing all tooth surfaces and rinsing with water; the formula includes common toothpaste additives such as sodium fluoride, calcium bicarbonate, carrageenan, xanthan gum, and a fragrance (aroma), which are not banned but may be considered controversial for users highly sensitive to fragrance or menthol.

The formula is non‑abrasive, vegan‑friendly, and includes soothing ingredients such as aloe vera, xylitol and menthol, while also containing standard toothpaste additives like sodium fluoride, calcium bicarbonate, carrageenan and fragrance that may irritate highly sensitive mouths. Packaged in a recyclable plastic tube, the product is marketed for daily use after each meal, but the label advises adult supervision for children under 7 years due to fluoride content.

Comparative Analysis
