Maple syrup from the Philia brand is a 100% pure maple sap syrup, certified organic and harvested in Canada, packaged in a clear glass bottle with a recyclable cap. Nutritionally it falls into the sweeteners category, delivering 80 g of sugars and 367 kcal per 100 ml while containing no fat, protein or fibre, resulting in a Nutri-Score of E and placing it in the higher-sugar end of the spectrum. The product scores an A on the Eco-Score thanks to its organic production and recyclable packaging, but its high sugar load makes it unsuitable for low-sugar or diabetic diets.
