Based on its formula, is this product safe for sensitive or dry hair?

This product contains potential irritants such as fragrance, parabens, PEG-8 and the synthetic dye Basic Yellow 87, which can provoke reactions on sensitive scalps, so a 48-hour patch test is advised; however, the presence of conditioning agents like cetearyl alcohol, coconut alcohol, panthenol and hydrolyzed keratin can provide moisture benefits for dry hair when the product is tolerated.

What is the role of Basic Yellow 87 in this hair color?

Basic Yellow 87 is a synthetic direct dye that deposits a bright yellow pigment onto the hair shaft without the need for an oxidative developer, delivering the product's signature golden hue while remaining relatively fast-acting but potentially irritating for some users.

What is the recommended frequency of use for this hair color kit, and does it contain any controversial chemicals?

The kit is intended for occasional use, typically applied once until the color fades (about 4-6 weeks), and it should not be used daily; it includes controversial ingredients such as methylparaben, propylparaben, PEG-8 and fragrance, which some consumers avoid for health or environmental reasons.

Product Insights

got2b Bomb'Art 107 Yellow Golden Girl is a hair color kit from Schwarzkopf (Got2b line) that delivers a bright golden yellow shade in a 50 ml color cream paired with two 15 ml conditioning masks. The formula combines typical hair-dye components such as Basic Yellow 87 and PEG-8 with conditioning agents like cetearyl alcohol, coconut alcohol, panthenol, hydrolyzed keratin and macadamia seed oil, while also containing fragrance, parabens and a surfactant that may irritate sensitive scalps. Users should perform a patch test before use and can benefit from the included mask for post-color nourishment, but the presence of synthetic dyes and preservatives makes it unsuitable for those seeking fully clean or hypoallergenic hair-care products.

Comparative Analysis

Positioned as a bold, salon-inspired temporary hair-color kit, got2b Bomb'Art 107 Yellow Golden Girl differentiates itself in the market by coupling a vivid direct dye with a dedicated conditioning mask enriched with panthenol, hydrolyzed keratin and macadamia seed oil for added post-color care.
