What types of surfaces can these Prestige magnets be safely used on?

They work best on ferrous metal surfaces such as refrigerator doors, steel cabinets, and magnetic whiteboards; they are not effective on glass, wood, plastic, or electronic screens unless the surface has a metal backing.

Are there any safety warnings associated with these magnets for households with children?

Yes, the magnets are small and can be a choking hazard for children under three years old, so they should be kept out of reach and stored securely when not in use.

Is the packaging of the magnets recyclable or environmentally friendly?

The outer cardboard box is recyclable, but the inner plastic components are not widely accepted in standard recycling streams, which limits the overall eco‑friendliness of the packaging.

Product Insights

Maped's Prestige Magnets are a set of eight high‑strength decorative magnets designed for home, office, or educational settings. They are presented in a combined cardboard and plastic packaging that protects the items but includes non‑recyclable plastic components. While their attractive design and strong hold make them useful for attaching notes or photos, the small parts can pose a choking hazard for young children and the plastic packaging raises environmental concerns.

Comparative Analysis

These Maped Prestige magnets target the premium segment of decorative fridge accessories, offering a sleek, high‑strength design that differentiates them from ordinary low‑cost magnetic sets.
