What indoor spaces and surfaces are suitable for placing an 80‑100 cm Nordmann fir Christmas tree?

The tree fits well on stable tables, stands, or fir‑specific holders placed away from high‑traffic areas; it should rest on a water‑proof surface to catch runoff and avoid damage to flooring.

Is it safe to keep a live Nordmann fir near a fireplace or other heat source?

No, the tree should be kept at least one meter away from open flames, heaters, or radiators, as its dry needles can ignite quickly and pose a fire hazard.

How should the Nordmann fir be disposed of after the holidays to minimize environmental impact?

After use, the tree can be recycled through local green waste programs, composted, or returned to many retailers offering tree‑recycling services, reducing landfill waste and facilitating nutrient return to the soil.

Product Insights

The Carrefour Nordmann Fir is a fresh, living Christmas tree measuring 80–100 cm, ideal for indoor holiday decoration. Its natural scent and sturdy branches provide an authentic festive atmosphere, while its limited lifespan means it requires regular watering and careful placement. However, it generates seasonal waste and may be less environmentally friendly if not recycled or composted after use.

Comparative Analysis

Compared with artificial trees, this real Nordmann fir offers a genuine fragrance and soft needles but requires maintenance and proper disposal after the holidays.
