How should the Dry dock mat be cleaned and maintained to extend its lifespan?

After each use, rinse the mat with warm water, launder it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle if needed, and allow it to air‑dry completely before storing to prevent mold growth.

Dish Drying Mats

Product Insights

The Dry dock is a reusable dish‑drying mat sold by Prepara at Casa Viva in Barcelona, Spain. It provides a convenient, water‑absorbent surface that protects countertops and keeps dishes upright while they dry, and its compact design makes it easy to store in small kitchens. However, if left damp the mat can develop mildew, it may slip on smooth surfaces and its size may be insufficient for larger dish sets.

Comparative Analysis

Positioned as a space‑saving, reusable alternative to disposable towel sheets, this dish‑drying mat targets eco‑conscious consumers looking for a durable, easy‑to‑clean kitchen accessory.
