What types of dishes and surfaces can Pure's dish washing liquid be safely used on?

The product is formulated for hand-washing ceramic, glass, stainless-steel and plastic tableware; it should not be used on non-coated wood, cast iron or delicate crystal that could be affected by strong surfactants.

Are there any safety or irritation concerns when handling this liquid detergent?

The formula contains strong surfactants that can cause skin irritation if contact is prolonged, so using gloves or rinsing hands after use is recommended, and it should be kept out of reach of children.

Is the packaging or formula of Pure's dish washing liquid environmentally friendly?

The 650 ml bottle is made of recyclable plastic, but the detergent itself is a conventional chemical blend that is not fully biodegradable, making it less eco-friendly than plant-based alternatives.

Product Insights

Pure's Dish washing liquid is a 650 ml chemical-based detergent sold in Canada, designed for hand-washing dishes and removing tough grease. It delivers strong cleaning performance thanks to surfactants and degreasing agents, but the formulation may include harsh chemicals that can irritate skin and are not biodegradable. Consumers seeking eco-friendly or hypo-allergenic options should compare it with plant-based alternatives.

Comparative Analysis

In the Canadian household cleaning market, Pure's dish washing liquid competes on grease-cutting power and price, but it lacks the natural or eco-certified positioning of many newer green detergents.
