Is XliWhite suitable for people with sensitive teeth or gums?

Yes, XliWhite can be used by individuals with sensitive teeth, but the presence of sodium coco-sulfate and hydrated silica may cause mild irritation, so those with extreme sensitivity should test a small amount first.

What is the role and benefit of papain in XliWhite toothpaste?

Papain is a proteolytic enzyme that breaks down protein-based stains on the enamel, enhancing the whitening effect without the need for harsh abrasives.

How often should XliWhite be used and are there any ingredients that are hazardous if swallowed?

The toothpaste is intended for twice-daily use, brushing for two minutes each time; while the small amount ingested during normal brushing is harmless for humans, the high xylitol content is toxic to pets, and excessive ingestion should be avoided.

The formula also contains hydrated silica for gentle abrasion, glycerin and sorbitol for moisture, natural peppermint flavor for freshness, and tea tree leaf oil for antimicrobial action, while sodium coco-sulfate and the abrasive silica may cause irritation for some users. It is safe for daily use by adults, but the presence of xylitol makes it toxic to pets, so the product should be kept out of reach of animals.
