What surfaces and materials are these adhesive bookmarks safe to use on?

They adhere well to paper, cardboard, thin cardstock, and non-porous surfaces such as plastic or metal, but are not recommended for glossy photo paper, delicate fabric, or highly textured surfaces where the adhesive may not release cleanly.

Are there any toxicity, flammability, or handling warnings for these bookmarks?

The pressure-sensitive adhesive is non-toxic, but the paper is combustible, so keep it away from open flames and store in a cool, dry place; keep the small pieces out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.

Is the packaging and material of these bookmarks environmentally friendly?

The bookmarks are made from PEFC-certified recycled paper, which is biodegradable, and the outer packaging is primarily cardboard with a thin plastic sleeve that is recyclable in most curb-side programs.

Product Insights

These 500 adhesive bookmarks from the 3M Post-it brand come in ten bright colors and measure 15 x 38 mm, offering convenient, removable page markers for books and documents. The PEFC-certified paper ensures responsible sourcing, and the strong yet clean-release adhesive makes them useful for organizing notes in offices, schools, and homes. On the downside, the adhesive can leave slight residue on delicate or glossy pages, and the large bulk packaging may generate unnecessary waste if the full quantity is not used.

Comparative Analysis

Compared with standard single-color sticky notes, this bulk pack of multi-color Post-it bookmarks provides a broader color range and higher quantity, positioning it as a cost-effective choice for users who need versatile, quick-reference markers.
