What surfaces and contexts can Family Care Smooth & Dry Insect Repellent be safely applied to?

The spray is safe for direct use on exposed skin, as well as on clothing, shoes, and outdoor gear, but it should not be applied to eyes, open wounds, damaged skin, or delicate fabrics such as silk or synthetic leather.

What toxicity and handling warnings should users follow when using this DEET-based repellent?

DEET can be an irritant; avoid inhaling the spray, keep it away from flames or hot surfaces, wash hands after application, and store the bottle out of reach of children.

Is the packaging of this insect repellent recyclable and are its active ingredients environmentally friendly?

The bottle is made of recyclable plastic, though local recycling availability may vary, while DEET and the accompanying solvents are persistent chemicals that do not readily biodegrade, making the formulation less eco-friendly.
